The Beaches

Main Beach Old Bar: Just 200 metres from Finns, Old Bar is the perfect spot for swimming and lounging in the sun.If you walk 50 metres to the left you come to popular surfing breaks 1st and 2nd corner or continue your walk up the beach towards the Entrance and Mudbishops.  A great walk also includes going right at the main track and walking around 20 minutes down the beach to Wallabi point to enjoy a nice lunch at the Wallabi Point Coastal Cafe.

Wallabi Point (tarrance): Popular Learn to surf beach for the kiddies with lots of rock pools to explore. Protected from the North East Wind and a local favourite to hang out.

Saltwater Point: Situated within saltwater National Park, includes multiple walking and bike trails, an excellent right hand popular point break, glassy turquoise water and private atmosphere. Also includes backside Saltwater beach, with large lagoon in the summer, crisp white sand that looks out to Diamond Beach.

Beach Day Trips: Other Great Day trips include visits to Forster Tuncurry, Boomerang, Manning Point and Seal Rocks, all show casing beautiful pristine White Sand Beaches.

Eating Out

Local Favourites: We are lucky to have great options at our door step including grabbing a coffee and Toastie at popular Buyi Cafe next door. Walking down to Flow Bar for Cocktails & dinner while watching live music, Feasting into some of traditional Thai cuisine at Sai Thai or grabbing a Takeaway from Blow Fish or the wallabi point coastal cafe.

Out and About: There are also many great options for Day trips when indulging in food, this includes a visit to Valley View Farm, Hamilton Oysters Restaurant at Tuncurry, Bent on food and Garden Grub Cafes at Wingham.

Forster/Tuncurry: Located 25 mins from Finns, This beautiful Coastal town overlooks pristine long white sandy beaches, rock pools and great surfing spots.
With a range of great Cafes, Restaurants and boutiques its a perfect day trip for our guests to explore. We recommend a Brekky or Lunch at Tart, A walk along the main street, a dinner at Si Senorita Mexican or Spice Monkey Japanese. Great options are available for dolphin and whale watching as well as scuba diving and deep sea fising.

Boomerang: Ultimate Private Luxury with pristine crystal clear water. Long days relaxing beachside is much needed for the soal.

Seal Rocks: popular with families visiting the local camping grounds, Seal Rocks has a secluded beach perfect for families

Wingham: Located Inland, this short 25 minute drive to this older heritage town is a must to visit to have a brekky or Lunch at Garden Grub Cafe while visiting the many second hand and vintage/antique stores.
