What time is check in and check out?
Our standard check-in time is 2PM and check out is 10AM.


Can I arrange an earlier check-in?
A request for early check-in can be made with our sales team, however, it is not guaranteed. While we will always do our best to have the room ready for you if you wish to guarantee an early check-in the room should be booked for the night prior.


Can I arrange a later check-out?
If you’d like a later check-out please contact the sales team the day prior to your departure to discuss. We are also able to store your luggage for the day while you continue to explore the area.


When is the reception open?
At Present – we do not have a permanent reception, As part of our Covid Safety plan we have closed our reception for the time being. All our guests will be sent their check in details prior to arrival as well as check out procedure. However our staff are still available 24 hours to assist our guests if needed.


What is the latest time we can check in?
Guests can check in at any time – however if checking in after 6pm- we ask guests to please notify the property before your arrival on 0421 180 821


Can I walk to the beach & town?
Yes we are located within 200 metres of the sand and the closest café is only 80 meters away. We also have an additional 5 cafes and restaurants as well as takeaway shops and Coles located within 200 metres of the property. We are located 15 minute’s drive from Taree.


Which airport should I fly into?
 The Closest Airport is Taree which is 15 minute’s drive away. Port Macquarie is 45 minutes away which has daily flights to and from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. However if you are travelling by a light plane, we have a landing strip at the Old Bar airfield,  200 metres from our property and you can see the airstrip from the back of our property, you can park your plane on this airstrip.


Is there free parking onsite?
All of our rooms are allocated free parking on site. We also have a large carpark located next door that’s attached to the tennis courts that’s free of charge. (note busier times, like the October Long weekend and when the football or tennis matches are on this additional car park may be quite busy.)


Do you charge for sporting equipment use?
No we don’t charge for the use of our equipment. We have surfboards and tennis equipment on site for those who wish to use it. Damages will be charged if any of this equipment is damaged or broken.


Does Finns have a swimming pool?
Yes we do! The good news is, its also heated all year round to the perfect temperature depending on the weather. The pool is a mineral, 6 by 3.4 metre pool located in the back courtyard of the property. All rooms and apartments overlook this space.

Is there a Gym Onsite?
No We don’t have a gym onsite, however there is a range of trainers who run programs within walking distance to the property. There is also a popular group fitness gym located near by called ‘The Lion Factory’.


Can I arrange a photo shoot at Finns?
Our property is perfect for photo shoots. All shoots must be approved by management and are restricted to the time and space agreed. Please email a detailed request to our team.


Can I smoke in the room?
All of our houses and suites are strictly non-smoking. Guests are welcome to smoke in one exterior area of the property.


Do you take children?
We welcome children at Finns, children under 12 stay free in existing bedding.


Do you offer gift cards or vouchers?
Yes, we can offer gift cards either to apply to a certain booking or just an amount. Vouchers can be emailed for you to print or posted to you.


How can I make a booking for a larger group?
Group bookings are best discussed and confirmed over the phone or via email at sales@finnsatloldbar.com.au


Is there are restaurant onsite or is breakfast included?
We do not have a restaurant onsite. However have 4 local cafes that do breakfast including Buyi Café located just next door.


Is there free wifi and is it high speed?
Yes free wifi is available throughout the property.


Can we book Finns for a function or wedding.
Finns is available for Shoots, birthdays, Hens parties etc. However will need to be discussed and booked directly with our sales team.


Do you allow pets?
Yes we do allow some pets onsite, however needs to be booked direct and made sure you are located in our pet friendly room.


Is full payment required at the time of booking?
 If you book on Airbnb, they will handle your payment for your stay. If you book direct we normally charge one nights fee to reserve your spot and the remainder would need to be paid approximately 4 weeks in advance. This is for whole property group bookings only. If you are travelling just for one night or two and have booked only a queen room or an apartment, then your card will normally be charged the day before your arrival.


When is Peak Season
Our high seasons are Christmas / New Years (22 December – 7 January), Easter and October Long Weekend. However at present we normally book weekends up to 12 months in advance. We ask guests to follow our social media accounts for updates of cancellations with availabilities.


Is there a credit card surcharge?
Yes we have a 1.3% surcharge for all card transactions.


Can I request an extra bed in the room?
Yes you can request an extra mattress to be placed into your room, however some rooms this is quite a tight fit, as we like our rooms to be spacious and enjoyable.


How do I cancel my booking?
For direct bookings with Finns please email or call to cancel your reservation. For online travel agent bookings please contact the agent.


Can I have my wedding at Finns?
